Education is a foundational pillar of the PGA of America and consistently rates high as a “value of membership” among our PGA Members. Here in the Colorado Section, we are committed to offering our Members educational opportunities that add value to them and tools to their toolbox.

We are excited to announce that Chris McChesney, co-Author of The 4 Disciplines of Execution, will be joining us as our keynote speaker for our upcoming Spring Membership Meeting on Monday, March 30. In addition to the meeting presentation, McChesney will be holding a more intimate 2-hour session for those interested in digging a little deeper into the disciplines of execution. For just $25, members will receive lunch and a copy of the book ~ The 4 Disciplines of Execution.

McChesney, along with his co-authors Sean Covey and Jim Huling, all with Franklin Covey, have studied the topic of execution for several years in thousands of teams and in hundreds of organizations. Their research shows that execution breaks down in four ways:

  1. Managers and work teams don’t know the goal,
  2. Managers and teams don’t know what to do to achieve the goal,
  3. They don’t keep score and
  4. They are not held accountable.

It takes incredible discipline to execute a strategic goal in any organization. But it takes even more discipline to do so again and again. We hope you will join us as together we will learn more about creating a culture of execution and embedding four basic disciplines into your organization.
