Colorado PGA is proud to introduce the True Temper Project X Series.

In conjunction with True Temper, the Colorado PGA will be conducting a “Points Race” for those Colorado PGA Members playing True Temper Shafts during four of our Championships this year. These Championships include:

  • Stroke Play #4 at Highland Meadows Golf Club | May 29, 2019
  • West Chapter Stroke Play Championship at Eagle Ranch Golf Course | June 25, 2019
  • Section Championship at Meridian Golf Club | September 9-11, 2019
  • West Chapter Championship at Aspen Glen Club | October 1-2, 2019

Members will be playing for a $5,000 purse!

  • $2,000 for 1st Place
  • $1,500 for 2nd Place
  • $1,000 for 3rd Place
  • $500 for 4th Place

The Colorado PGA Points List for these events will be used, with Double Points awarded at the West Chapter Championship.

Members do not have to be using True Temper Shafts at the beginning of this “Points Race” but must be playing True Temper at the West Chapter Championship to be eligible to compete in this series.

“We are very excited to launch this new partnership with True Temper as we continue to enhance our Colorado PGA Tournament Program,” states Eddie Ainsworth, CEO of the Colorado PGA. “To be playing True Temper, all our Members have to do is reach out to David Walker, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with True Temper Sports, and he will take care of you.”

True Temper has become a great supporter of the Colorado PGA by investing an additional $25,000 into our 2019 Denver Welcome2Golf Marketing Campaign. And to now have them invest even more through the True Temper Project X Series, it is just incredible,” continues Ainsworth. “Hopefully our PGA Members will show their support by playing and recommending True Temper Shafts.”
