It’s up to you to plan the celebration. 4. **Please note that to receive your complimentary box of Omaha Steaks Filet Mignons all hole-in-one’s must be made within the Colorado Section PGA boundaries.
The PGA of America Statement from Ted Bishop Regarding Anchoring
May 21, 2013
Over the past few months The PGA of America has taken a vocal and active position which reflected the strong viewpoint of our PGA Professionals in opposing the USGA and R&A's proposed Rule 14-1b that would ban the anchored stroke. Today, the governing bodies indicated that they will proceed with the formal adoption of the rule.
We are disappointed with this outcome. As we have said publicly and repeatedly during the comment period, we do not believe 14-1b is in the best interest of recreational golfers and we are concerned about the negative impact it may have on both the enjoyment and growth of the game. Growing the game is one of the fundamental purposes of The PGA of America.

Named 2012 PGA of America Private Merchandiser of the Year
George Kahrhoff, PGA head professional at The Country Club at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, Colo., didn’t start out as the picture of decorum at the golf course. As a teenager, while working in the bag room at Riverside Country Club in Grand Island, Neb., he attempted to jump over a bunker and was promptly fired by PGA Head Professional Jack Hoskins. “It was typical crazy kid stuff, and I always tell my assistants, ‘There’s nothing you can do that I won’t know because I was once there myself,’” quipped Kahrhoff, the 2012PGA Merchandiser of the Year for private facilities. “Most importantly, this is where I first learned about service, how important it is to carry a member’s bags to the car and keep the bag room clean.”
